Hi, I'm Sonja! I'm a wife, mom, and lifelong crafter who loves creating handmade gifts for the people I love. From sewing and Cricut projects to flower arrangements and everything in between, I'm always trying something new.

When I'm not crafting, you'll find me outdoors gardening, or singing my heart out on Smule. I'm an amateur at most of these things, but I believe in learning, growing, and enjoying the journey.

Handmade with love

Made using my Great-Grandmother's sewing notions.

Shadow box made with Great-Grandmother's notions. Embroidery done on old scrap printed fabric of hers. The newspaper was one of her homemade quilt patterns. Included is her crochet baby cap (made circ. 1919), later turned into a doily.

Shadow box #2 of Great-Grandmother's notions. Includes an old pack of her brother's cigarettes she had labeled and kept in her sewing box, a shopping list for notions, and needle size for her machine.

My first attempt at sewing clothing. I probably should have picked different material or lined them. The metallic thread in them makes them itchy.

I made this pincushion following a YouTube tutorial.

My first quilt, made for my Nephew's baby for her first Christmas. I tried free motion quilting design. It's not even close to perfect but it has character.

I made these potholders as 2025 Christmas gifts.

Easter baskets made for my sons and my eldest's girlfriend. You can see the differences in the handles — blue was too long, green a little shorter, and pink came out just right.
